Engaging families working from home

With current unfolding events causing a lot of children to have to adapt to learning-from-home, parents and guardians now taking the lead in their education. But how can they keep their children’s attention?

Microsoft has created a ‘Family Learning Center’ that allows parents, guardians and even siblings to deliver safe and simple, family-led learning sessions for children aged between 3 and 12 that may be learning-from-home for the foreseeable future.

But what does that include?

Activities are broken down into age categories with ages 3 to 6 learning about family history, building a dinosaur, dance parties and so much more, ages 6 to 9 discovering stop motion animation, making summer plans, understanding the planets and lots more, and finally ages 9 to 12 are getting to grips with Artificial Intelligence (AI), writing news stories, meeting artists and all the other endless possibilities.
