We had an issue recently with the Azure Information Protection (AIP) toolbar displaying outside of the Office 2016 application you are using. The Toolbar opens in a separate window named “AdxTaskPane”.
To resolve this please try the below:
- Open the Office Application and navigate to File > Options > General > User Interface options
- Select Optimize for compatibility (application restart required)
- Restart Office
