risual’s core values relate to acting in a manner which is ethical, respectful, transparent, inclusive and fair, challenging, confident, collaborative and professional. risual is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own business or in any of our supply chains. risual is also committed to ensuring there is transparency in our own business and in our approach to tackling modern slavery throughout our supply chains, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The same high standards are expected from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners. Wherever practicable, risual will seek to include in our contracts with business partners specific prohibitions against the use of bonded, forced, compulsory or trafficked labour, or anyone held in slavery or servitude, whether adults or children, and expects that all suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.
risual recognise that our activities impact on the environment. risual is committed to minimising the impact of its activities on the environment as far as is reasonably practical. We encourage all employees to take a responsibility to ensure that the aims and objectives of the environmental policy are met.
risual accepts its legal duties and moral responsibilities with regard to safeguarding of its apprentices. risual seeks to ensure a safe, secure, healthy, supportive and quality environment for its workforce whether they are in the college or at work on site. risual understands the importance that promoting a secure safeguarding culture contributes to feeling safe which will allow young people and apprentices to enjoy and achieve their full learning potential.
risual are committed to carrying out our business activities in an honest and ethical manner and to observing the provision of the Bribery Act 2010 in respect of it’s conduction and operations.
The Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998 protects employees who raise legitimate concerns about specified matters from being dismissed by risual or from being subjected to detrimental treatment or victimised by either risual or work colleagues as a result, provided certain criteria are met. risual encourage employees to make disclosures about fraud, misconduct, bribery or other wrongdoing to risual, without fear of reprisal, so that problems can be identified, dealt with and resolved quickly and have a policy to support individuals who raise protected disclosures.
