A British global fashion retailer with a chain of high street shops engaged with risual to counter a £1.6m in lost sales with better integration between digital services.

To combat large losses in eComm sales and increased labour costs for manual replenishment, our client defined a strategy to improve how integration was managed between its digital services. Key to enabling improves stock availability and avoiding loss of sales was the removal of physical separation of replenishment stock. Critical to success was to enable dynamic virtual stock mix down to SKU level responsive to in-day demand.

The strategy includes the creation of a dedicated Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) that introduces re-usable patterns, stable development, and reduces costs.

risual has been engaged from the very start of this journey from producing guidance on the integration options for this program of work to now, with the delivery of some of the largest integrations planned.

The object of the program is to enable integration between our clients’ own systems with multiple external retail providers.

In addition to the integration strategy, risual have designed and delivered in Infrastructure as Code Microsoft Azure Enterprise Scale Landing Zone based on the Microsoft CAF and Well-Architected frameworks.
