A risual client that works in partnership with banks and brokers to help businesses with finances and insurances has had a long-standing partnership with risual for over 8 years. Throughout this partnership, risual and the client have worked together on various projects, striving towards a secure and modern workforce.
Following a security review of its existing structure, processes and systems using Microsoft Secure Score it was clear that the current digital security footprint could be significantly improved to help provide a more secure environment and trustworthy processes. Our client received a score of 63.72%, meaning there is plenty of room for improvements.
Microsoft Secure Score provides Microsoft 365 users with a security function, offering an insight into their current level of protection. As mentioned in the name, this service also gives you an estimated “score” out of 100 on your security posture. Secure Score will provide you with the means necessary to improve your posture with detailed insights and guidance.
Secure Score aims to help organisations report on the current state of its security posture, improve overall security posture by providing discoverability, visibility, guidance, and control and compare with benchmarks and establish key performance indicators (KPIs).
Following the review, risual were engaged to deliver a boundaryless ‘Zero Trust’ security implementation across multiple workstreams such as VM security, SQL Security, hardened Windows 10 builds for laptops and devices, and auditing BYOD devices. Currently our Security Consultants are looking at providing solutions for improving and migrating the client’s information architecture and piloting Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention.
