An international consumer organisation was struggling to implement corporate IT facilities within its production factories. The organisation wanted to include these facilities for several reasons such as employee engagement and HR purposes. The former process led to internal issues such as “Shadow IT”, in which employees used IT solutions on their own, without the support of IT experts. This type of process can lead to poor data security and technical problems within the organisation.
The global organisation required professional IT services to be Incorporated In its facilities to improve internal communication and data security.
risual offered a full range of managed services, with Microsoft 365. Employees were granted access to corporate applications such as Workday and Teams to communicate with each other. A pilot solution using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) was implemented for the client to manage applications on employees’ smartphones. Important information can be stored securely and accessed by employees through simple features.
After the integration of the new services, employees can access secured corporate information easily through their work devices. This process increased flexibility and productivity for the organisation, creating a more agile business. Employee engagement and satisfaction also increased due to the services being simple to understand.
Further analysis can be given to the organisation to ensure that all its needs are met and identify other aspects to be optimised.
