Recently I was lucky enough to be able to attend the popular Microsoft Ignite The Tour conference held at the Excel conference centre in the Docklands area of London, UK.
Ignite the Tour brings some of the speakers, content and announcements from Microsoft’s annual technical conference, Ignite, to cities around the world and in January it was London’s turn.
There were 182 sessions spread over two days along with a Microsoft Showcase area which contained experts and product demonstrations, There was also ‘The Hub’, a place to hang out where sponsors and other third parties had stalls.
When I’m at conferences I usually attend sessions covering my core skill areas of SharePoint, OneDrive for Business and Teams but this time I wanted to take the opportunity to learn more about other Microsoft product areas so tried out some Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Azure AD sessions.
It’s also a great place to do some networking, catch up with colleagues past and present, and meet new people.
