EVENT: risual and AI host joint roundtable exploring the data growth explosion
risual and partner Automated Intelligence have teamed up to host a joint roundtable session discussing why organisations need to take control of risky legacy data before they move to the cloud.
The roundtable will take place at risual HQ in Stafford (5 Parker Court, Beaconside Technology Park, Stafford, Staffordshire, ST18 0WP). risual and partner AI will be exploring the issue with having no insight into legacy data and why this is exposing organisations to potential legal and regulatory compliance risks.
The overall theme of the day is why the unparalleled data growth explosion means that organisations cannot simply ‘lift and shift’ their data to the cloud.
During the roundtable discussion, attendees will consider their current migration ‘blockers’, including not knowing how much data they have, what it contains and how much of this is ROT (redundant, obsolete and trivial information).
As well as the open discussion, attendees will hear from data experts from both risual and Automated Intelligence on the solutions options for controlling increasing amounts of data and how organisations can maximise their ROI from an intelligent migration to the cloud.
The event is open to all those working in IT, data and compliance roles across their respective industries. The roundtable will start with breakfast upon arrival from 09:00-10:00 and kicking off the session from 10:00-12:00 with networking at the end. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
