What does an Apprenticeship mean to your business?

After developing our own risual apprenticeship scheme to create our own skilled workforce, we identified a need for a comprehensive IT apprenticeship scheme across the UK for other employers. risual understand what the IT sector needs from an apprentice, so our own experts deliver Microsoft certified qualifications as part of the course. With the added benefits of academic experts at our partner colleges in our regional risual Academies and Microsoft Showcase classrooms we can offer the unique scheme we deliver to our own apprentices to employers across the UK.

To keep it really simple, like we do here at risual, an apprenticeship is employment with training, so a person benefits from both gaining recognised qualifications alongside developing essential work based skills.  Anyone can take on an apprentice – in terms of the basics, you must pay at least the minimum apprenticeship wage, they must work with experienced staff and 20% of their working week must be off the job training for their qualifications, which we deliver and schedule for you at our regional risual academy Microsoft Showcase Classroom.

risual Apprenticeships give learners the opportunity to achieve industry recognised Microsoft certifications in addition to their core academic qualifications. Industry Standard Assessors provide guidance on qualifications to meet business needs along with training delivered by industry experts. A risual education apprentice brings access to a wealth of knowledge and digital skills, whilst helping grow the next generation of talented staff for your business.

As a Microsoft Learning Partner we are also able to provide Microsoft Official Courses On Demand (MOC OD) which are aligned to MCP and MCSA/E pathways to further enhance the skills of your apprentices or existing staff.  Don’t forget apprenticeships are a great way to upskill your existing staff in Microsoft certifications!
