“risual take great pride in supporting our employees and ensuring that they are provided with the environment to grow and develop. We focus on their skill, technical and career development in equal measure to their personal and emotional wellbeing. We are very proud to receive a Silver award for Mothership Week, one of our wellbeing initiatives, and thank all those who have supported the programme.”
Kate Lincoln, Operations Director at risual Ltd
The winners of the awards were selected by a panel of independent judges made up of business professionals from across the UK. The awards are proud to be sponsored by Benefex and have Customer Experience Magazine as their media partner.
“Each month, a different group of employees get together to spend time investing in other aspects such as their personal wellbeing, development and interdepartmental networking. The Mothership Week team spend three days getting involved in all sorts of different activities such as; a nutrition session, inhouse training, health checks, a relaxation session and even visiting a local charity for the day to give a helping hand. We hope that all employees are able to take something away from this programme, whether it be taking away some advice to live a healthier lifestyle, gaining some new knowledge which will help them in their role or learning a new skill which can be used to benefit them as an individual both inside and outside of work – such as stress management techniques!”
Beth Giles, HR Assistant at risual Ltd
Congratulating the winners, Neil Skehel, CEO of Awards International, said: “We are truly inspired by the incredible talent showcased once again at the UK Employee Experience Awards. This year we have seen many outstanding examples of businesses which are breaking the mould and creating working environments that are truly supportive and engaging. This amazing event gave us the opportunity to acknowledge those companies and celebrate with both the finalists and the winners.”
“I really enjoyed Mothership Week. It’s nice to have a change of pace at work and get to try a few different things that I probably wouldn’t usually try (Zumba). I also thought the HR and Money Management sessions were also really helpful for clarifying the employee benefits on offer, especially for relatively new employees such as myself who may not have had chance to look into these. I’ll definitely be looking into them now!”
