How to delete the connector space for a MIM management agent

Sometimes we find ourselves wondering why a user’s profile still has dormant data attached to it when we know that at the source of the data it has been changed to the correct value. Even after re-syncing the management agent the old data is still present on the user’s profile and we’re left in a pit of despair.

Fear not, much to your delight we have a solution to this issue and it’s much easier than one might think.

1)The first thing we need to do is open the synchronisation service console

 

 

 

 


2) Once in, we need to go to the tab along the top pain that says “management agents”.

3) Next, right click the management agent for which you want to clear the connector space and then when the pop up opens select “clear connector space only”.


4) Once you have deleted the connector space you will be able to re-run all the syncs and the new information will be displayed.
