1.     Training and development opportunities

We have an unlimited budget for training, that’s right, unlimited! We encourage all of our employees to constantly work on their personal and professional selves, offering a wide variety of exams and courses including Microsoft relevant exams and job specific courses for the operational side of the business. We are passionate about our staff continuing to grow and develop their current skillset.

 

2.     Comprehensive private medical care

All employees can take advantage of fully comprehensive group private medical cover, which covers both in and outpatient services – perfect to help our employees to stay well and to support them back to work if they are unwell.

 

3.     Company pension

Employees are offered a pension scheme with generous employer contribution matching to help them save for a comfortable retirement.

 

4.     Mothership week

Each employee takes time out of their day job to undertake Mothership Week, an opportunity for our teams out in the field to return to the Mothership, and for everyone to develop new relationships across the business, receive business updates and get involved in a wide range of activities to support personal wellbeing and development.

 

5.     risual summit

Staying in the know is key, so we invite all of our team to HQ twice a year for our Summits, a day of updates and learning. Directors’ TV, risual radio, social media, and our weekly newsletter coupled with transparency, honesty and risual’s no-door policy mean our colleagues always have the opportunity to hear what is happening, understand risual’s performance, ask any question of anybody in the business including the given right to respectfully challenge any decision or request.

 

6.     Annual family day

We extend many of our employee benefits to your loved ones. We offer generous parental leave policies, comprehensive healthcare scheme, death benefits, and much more. We even give you your birthday off and send flowers to your partner on their birthday!  Whilst we have grown substantially over recent years, our ‘family’ culture is still very much prevalent and important to us.

 

7.     Death in service

We also offer an employer funded death in service benefit, so should the worst happen, four times an employee’s salary may be paid to their chosen beneficiaries. It’s a great opportunity to leave a substantial lump sum to the people left behind and who may need it most.

Nobody does Christmas like risual – our annual Christmas party is another way to say thank you to our fantastic risualites for all of their hard work throughout the year.

How many companies can say they will let you have your Birthday off work? We feel that you should have the opportunity to spend your birthday with your friends and family, so to thank you for your hard work at risual we will let you take your birthday off to relax at home!

We love nothing more than pizza after work with our colleagues – you’ll regularly find different teams upping the ante with themed pizza nights – Hawaiian Night, Retro Games Night, Hallowe’en dress up and Game Show night all proved very popular!

risual understand that stress levels can rise occasionally for individuals in the workplace, matters in their personal life and various other reasons. We wanted to begin a programme that would encourage positivity, productiveness, and happiness around the offices. A recent survey carried out to find out if pets impact those in a workplace shows that “access to dogs boosted morale and reduced stress levels, whether people had access to their own pets or other people’s.” – http://risu.al/baqs8 BBC News. risual decided to put the results to the test. That’s right! We let you bring your lovely pets into the risual offices! Since it launched last June, we’ve had 29 different pets visit our offices in Stafford to meet the #risualfam, with many more who couldn’t make it in (including a python and iguana…yes really!) being featured in our weekly newsletter in our regular Pet Profiles feature. We’ve loved watching friendships develop as a result – employees whose paths might not have crossed now do thanks to the dogs that have visited. We are still waiting for our first non-canine to visit…hopefully it won’t be long!
