risual is proud to extend its position as a leading IT consultancy and managed services provider to the public sector in its success to secure a place on the latest Crown Commercial Service (CCS) framework, Technology Products 2. Technology Products 2 is the UK’s biggest public sector technology framework and risual is thrilled to have been selected as a public sector supplier under Lot 6.

This will enable risual to provide a wide range of commoditised technology hardware and software products through a single online catalogue.

Complementing their presence on other frameworks including G-Cloud, risual were delighted to be awarded a framework agreement having successfully proven competence through the selection process. As a testament to risual, this framework represents a great opportunity for the business to grow its engagement across public sector and is further evidence of the government and CCS providing support to the UK’s thriving tech sector.

As 2016 worldwide finalist for Public Sector and National Security Safety and Microsoft UK Partner of the Year for 2015, risual are already seen as a ‘safe pair of hands’ by the public sector for their broad expertise and depth of knowledge. They are now able to extend their support through the provision of a range of products from various types of hardware with their multiple vendor partners through to licensing.

risual’s Product Specialist, Callum Hollinsworth said: “I am really pleased that risual has been able to secure a place on Technology Products 2 framework.  We currently engage with customers across all verticals of the public sector and we will continue to provide the same great service and value for money.”

risual’s Sales Director, John Pittaway added: “Having been on G-Cloud since G-Cloud 2, we have seen the immense benefits that these frameworks can bring to both clients and us as a business. I am delighted that CCS has entrusted risual to be one of the 68 suppliers to have secured a place on the framework.”

It is anticipated that the framework will see up to £4 billion of transactions over its life and significant savings provided to the tax payer. At the same time, it should provide businesses and organisations an easier and more accessible system for purchasing products.
