Time to refresh our terminology… Microsoft are updating the platform names for their Apps in the Office and SharePoint. Personally, I was never 100% keen on referring to “Apps” in the Office and SharePoint space as “Apps” is more often than not abbreviated from “Applications” which is something else entirely.
