SharePoint 2013 SQL Reporting Services Log Files

If you’re troubleshooting issues with the SQL Reporting Services on SharePoint 2013, you can find some very useful logs files (with the “reportserverservice” prefix) tucked away in this directory:

  • C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions15WebServicesLogFiles

For example:

Directory-SPSQLRS

Needless to say, if you have a multi-server environment, use the ULS logs to track down which server the correlation executed. I find using a decent ULS viewing application, with a filter such as the below, is the easiest way:
