There is a quick and simple way to find out what Virtual Machine your Hyper-V host is on

  • Open REGEDIT
  • Navigate to HKLMSOFTWAREMicrosoftVirtual MachineGuestParameters
    • Under HostName you will see what host your Virtual Machine is on
