Based on Microsoft’s proven Operating Framework and ITIL standards, risual’s Solution Methodology ensures the delivery of technology solutions, from migration, upgrade and new deployment, in line with your businesses tactical and strategic needs.
Evaluate
Fundamental to the start of any project is the need to capture the requirements from the business and technical teams. During this phase risual will determine the priorities, both tactical and strategic, with a view to supporting the initial planning decisions and usage scenarios suitable for targeted deployments of the technology. The business case will be structured and value defined to support the ensuing phases. It is important to note that evaluation should continue throughout the project lifecycle to measure and shape the subsequent phases.

Plan
Building on the captured requirements, risual continue to work with your teams to collectively establish the detailed design for deployment in your environment. This phase will cover all elements of the technology. The output is a functional specification which highlights the associated costs of all elements required for deployment.
Build
Having established a clear design and direction, this phase is focused on the construction of the solution as per the agreed design. risual continue to work alongside your team sharing knowledge and skills, as part of the commitment to support the business once the solution is deployed and becomes operational.
Test
Often a phase missed from projects through a need to deploy and realise value quickly, “Test” is equally as important in understanding if the theoretical planning and physical builds are compatible with the requirements, existing environment, procedures and are ready for operation.
Deploy
This phase is focused on the deployment of the solution and services to all appropriate users within your organisation. Deployment is executed in a transparent and seamless way, ensuring the most effective and efficient delivery model for your organisation. Any immediate issues relating to technology adoption will be evaluated in preparation for resolution in the “operate” phase.
Operate
Operational management is a critical factor for any IT Service Delivery function. As a direct result of this, risual ensures that the correct people and processes are in place and are aligned to business performance indicators. A key aspect of this phase is the consideration and planning for operations throughout consultation, an integral element to every project and solution. The management transition to support teams will form a major part of this phase, as will the initial assessment of technology adoption by the user community.
