Unified Communications Consultant – Technical Subject Matter Expert Lync 2010
With Microsoft Gold competencies in Unified Communications (UC) and Management and a host of other multiple competency awards you will consult for the UC Practice within our very successful and growing Microsoft Consulting services business. Specialising in Lync 2010 this role is for a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) with demonstrable experience and talent across the architecture, design and implementation of Microsoft Unified Communication solutions into large and complex Lync enterprise voice scenarios.
Key responsibilities:
• Work with clients to Build and Deploy Microsoft Lync 2010 solutions
• Consult with clients to understand their business and technical requirements
• Create innovative Microsoft Unified Communications solutions to meet client needs
• As a UC evangelist, articulate the Microsoft UC strategy in a concise and clear way
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with peers at Microsoft
• Continue to develop and progress with relevant technical certifications
• Contribute to developing the portfolio of UC services and solutions aligned to market and client requirements
Role requirements:
• Be MCITP Lync 2010 Administrator and Configuring Certified
• Possess excellent and experienced understanding of Active Directory Services and associated technology
• Certified Lync 2010 (Voice specialisation of preference) with a proven track record of delivering Lync solutions
• Plan and work towards the Microsoft Certified Masters (MCM) program
• Be suitable to pass full UK Security Clearance (SC) level
• Hold a clean and full UK driving licence
• Have excellent and demonstrable documentation skills including Low level Design (LLD)
• Knowledge and experience of integrating Lync 2010 into 3rd party telephony environments using SIP Trunks or Gateways (Desirable)
• Preferably hold a solid understanding of comprehensive multi-vendor UC solutions including, Polycom, Plantronics, Jabra and NET
