Assessor

Home based, with travel mostly in Northern England

The Role

As an Assessor within risual’s Education team, you will be responsible for a caseload of learners that you will visit in their place of work to carry out assessments, monitor and review progress, provide advice and guidance, set targets and offer 1-2-1 support throughout their apprenticeship programme and/or employment. You will be responsible for building relationships with employers to ensure the best level of customer service at all times.

  • Observing and assessing an agreed caseload of learners, monitoring and assessing apprentice’s development and practice
  • Conducting formative and summative assessments
  • Educating and developing apprentices to better understand their areas of specialism.
  • Complete assessment of all competency units, covering in-centre, work placements and apprentices and work with the college(s) tutorial team to ensure all apprentices have the required skills and knowledge to successfully achieve the mandatory competency units.
  • Following the guidance issued by both the Awarding Body and the College with regard to assessment practice and the completion of documentation.
  • Working with the Quality Manager to achieve agreed volumes of learner achievement in line with the business strategy and plans, carry out high quality mentoring and coaching to apprentices to ensure competency units are completed within agreed timelines
  • Supporting Internal Quality Assurer, supporting standardisation process and supporting Internal Verifiers during External Verification visits
  • Undertaking staff development appropriate to the contractual requirements of the post and the needs of the section.
  • Liaise with mentors and employers at all levels in the workplace
  • Monitor progress, motivate and provide guidance to learners.
  • Carry out record keeping and general administration relating to training and assessment.
  • Support the self-assessment process and ensure that the course quality improvement plan (CIP) is implemented and monitored

About You

You have a highly professional approach along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are self-motivated with the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines, using excellent time-management skills to ensure productivity is maintained.

Essential

  • Full UK driving license and access to vehicle

OSD and Systems Management Consultant

Home based, with regular UK travel to customer sites

With a clear focus on delivering the best value, you will work through the complete consulting life-cycle, including (but not limited to):

Internal Project Manager

Based at risual HQ, Stafford

An opportunity has arisen for a driven, motivated individual looking for a challenging role in Project Management.  The role of Internal Project Manager with our Project Management Office is to co-ordinate and manage the successful initiation, deployment and completion customer projects and engagements.

The role would suit an applicant at the beginning of their career journey looking for a role that provides growth and great opportunity to develop, as well as an experienced and competent administrator seeking a new challenge in a successful and supportive organisation.

Based in Stafford, you will work within the immediate Project Management Office team alongside the broader team of project and engagement managers and consulting teams who are responsible for delivering technical and business application related IT and business projects to our customers.  You will be required to take leadership of small projects or internal project managed projects and manage them through to completion.  This will involve collaborative working across risual, our customers and partner organisations and suppliers to ensure all projects are delivered to agreed time, budget and quality criteria.  As your skills and capability grow, you’ll be given more responsibility and work more autonomously to develop the skills a competent internal project manager needs.  A customer centric attitude is a must, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks, show drive and motivation and a meticulous attention to detail.  risual is a passionate ambassador of employee wellbeing and learning and development and therefore the role is suited to individuals who will bring a growth mindset with an eagerness to progress and complete qualifications and training for their personal growth.

Sales Apprentice

Based at risual HQ, Stafford

£12,305 p.a.

The Role

This role will involve working within the Sales department supporting our sales management team and sales professionals during a 12-month apprenticeship. This is a key role within our team, providing support and demonstrating excellent customer service internally to our sales professions in the areas of sales administration, and both internally and externally when supporting bids and tenders and promoting events and initiatives.

The role of risual Apprentice will include to:

• Update sales opportunities in risual’s internal CRM system
• Generate quotes and proposals for customers
• Book sales orders in our internal systems
• Liaise with risual’s Project Management Office to ensure smooth transition of orders into risual’s delivery functions
• Provide the customer facing interface for all sales queries into risual, providing excellent customer service
• Help to schedule internal and customer review of risual’s Customer Account and Partnership Plans (CAPP) which the Account Director owns for their customer
• Schedule customer meetings and calls with appropriate member of the sales team, risual’s delivery teams, Microsoft sales staff and customers to progress Microsoft Public Cloud success plans
• Booking CAPP review meetings internally and externally
• Help to ensure that Account Charters are being upheld through follow-up of actions with sales team members.
