why: A large construction company wanted to roll out a new desktop environment utilising the latest collaboration tools and hardware to several thousand users

how: risual engaged with an EUC approach to understand all the complexities involved and provided a plan to move the desktop from the legacy environment to the new environment. This was exceptionally complex due to the legacy environment being stuck on a multi-AD forest and users being geographically dispersed. Our EUC approach allowed the organisation to see the extent of the project and to approach it in a logical way. We planned a phased migration that could scale to the whole user community. We included an upgrade to the latest desktop operating system and a migration of user collaboration services to Office365.
