New Custom Formatting in SharePoint!

SharePoint lists and libraries are the for-most containers for data and content. In the past Microsoft have introduced solutions such as column formatting, this is something that lets users paste JSON scripts into formatting windows in order to add interactions and visualisations.

Recently they have decided to release their new solution ‘Custom Formatting’, it is described to be like column formatting as it lets users add conditional colouring on column values. The best part of this is that no code is required, this is because it uses choice date and Boolean columns. When the ‘format this column’ option is selected users can use a pre-built template.

This is still being rolled out to all companies and should be available to everyone later this month.
