Azure Database for MariaDB Now Generally Available!

A few weeks ago Microsoft announced the general availability of Azure Database. Microsoft believe this to be able to help migrate from on-prem to Azure. This has an inbuilt 99.99% SLA and easy scaling capabilities for storage, this also help for easy flexible pricing. Developers can use this to create native applications as well as the security that comes with Azure, 24/7 monitoring and Azure IP advantages. Microsoft hopes that this expands their open source capabilities by providing new features for use on open source databases. One of the new features is allowing customers to connect to their MariaDB server from a virtual network.

Go try out MariaDB for yourselves and let us know what you think of this.
