How To Enable Office 365 ProPlus ULS Logging!

How do I enable Office 365 ProPlus ULS Logging?

When troubleshooting Office 365 issues there are times when the traditional logs don’t provide enough information on what the issue is or what is causing it. This includes issues like signing in, installations, patching issues and app issues.

To gather more logs you will need to set the following registry key:

Please note we would always recommend making a backup of your registry before making any changes.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Logging]

“EnableLogging”=dword:000000001

The location for these logs by default can be found in the ‘%temp%’ folder. We would also recommend changing this registry key back after you have captured the logs otherwise your disk space will be filled up very quickly.
