risual secures its place on G-Cloud 9

Done and dusted, after weeks of effort by hundreds of suppliers up and down the country, the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has unveiled the latest list of successful applicants who are to be entrusted by the government to deliver Cloud-based services to the UK Public Sector.

risual is delighted to announce that it has been granted a place on the list of suppliers and looks forward to working in collaboration with the government and the wider public sector as it continues to use technology to achieve Digital Transformation.

Kick-started back in 2010 by the Government Digital Service (GDS), the framework is now one of the largest frameworks in Europe, and has seen the number of public sector bodies procuring through the framework increase significantly over time. With Central Government leading the way, organisations across the whole of the Public Sector are now often using G-Cloud and similar CCS frameworks as their preferred route to market.

risual Sales Manager, Tim Gee had this to say on the G-Cloud Framework, “the NHS, Universities and Emergency Services are often joining forward thinking Councils and Government departments who can see the value in this framework. It’s proven it can help cut the cost of procurement and bridge the IT skills gap. G-Cloud has assisted countless organisations throughout the UK deliver efficiency savings, help protect front-line services and is now improving the availability, quality and use of government data.”

Not resting on their laurels, risual has replaced some of their old services with some new offerings. These include a Microsoft Azure optimisation and reporting dashboard service which allows clients to now easily understand and interrogate granular representation of Azure consumption and cost. Other new risual features include the availability of Business Analysts from the Business Group division and the introduction of Microsoft CSP licensing.

risual’s co-founder added, “Despite the progress made in recent years, last week’s Cyber-attack on the NHS was a reminder to us all that we can’t afford to stand still. We are delighted to have secured a place on G-Cloud 9 and we now look forward to continuing to work with clients who are seeking to use technology to improve their services to the community and their colleagues”.
